You have to be really careful while tuning with cats on. You can't just run super rich, run after run, while you play with the tune and expect the cats to last. If you dip into the 10s or have an idle fueling problem (typical when trying to dial in a UTEC without a reflash), you can expect the cats to top 1000 deg F after a few pulls. If you keep going without allowing them to cool off between runs, they will burn out.

Yea, Ultimate racing explain to me about how core could failed and why they not cover under warranty if core failed. At that time i understood about cats core/exhaus temp and A/F works. It is suprised me that failed that early tho.
