RC injector help!
Hey guys,
Im currently installing my TN kit this weekend and got a set of used RC 440cc injectors for my car. when installing them today, it seems the injectors sit up higher than the stock ones causing the fuel rails to be raised about a half inch. I put spacers to allow the fuel rail to sit higher but now I cant install the lower plenum back because its hitting the fuel rails. Is anyone else having this problem with their RC injectors? after all this, im beginning to question if these are for the g35/350z. the fat part of the injectors sit on top of the "injector hole" but doesnt seem to go all the way down as far as it can. this really sucks for me as I need this for the turbo install. any advice is appreciated.

its not that i need a spacer. Its the fact that the fuel rails are hitting the lower plenum when I go to put it back on the runners. This causes a huge (1/2") gap between the lower plenum and the runners underneath which isn't safe at all. I don't need spacers.. I need something to lower my injectors and fuel rails. Someone that changed their injectors with RC's please chime in!

yeah, sorry I misinterpreted Nickk6 comment earlier about the spacer for the lower intake plenum. That would be the only way but I don't think that would be a good idea either. These should fit without any type of special spacers. I will just be returning them I guess. Sorry I have no pictures but I installed another set of denso 380cc injectors and they fit fine. I don't think these are correct. Thanks guys. Now I have to find a set of 550cc+ to compensate for the turbo. 380's will be a temp job.

Well the RC injectors are definitely to long for a 07 coupe. Goldies actually. There exactly as the original posted said. So now the cars sitting till we can get a spacer. Makes me think the rails are different for the earlier models since the one peron who said they fit was a 03. CRAP! Goldie was told by 2 different vendors that the injectors would fit no problem, not sure who though. So went ahead and redid the harness for them before hand to get the hardest part over with.
