Ordered my cam today...

228/228 .588/.588@114

..I figure the 224/224 cam works great on an LS1 so this one being a little bigger should have the same effect with the bigger engine.

New oil pan came in today.. Now I can fit my turbo drain up front with no problem.

Did you ever think about a rear mount for the turbo . I know its to late now , but to me that would be the easier set up with the V8 in there .

Who did you order this oil pan from since the hinson one you had before was not upto par? Also, is the only option to go solid motor mounts? Do you feel a lot of vibration in the car at idle? Im sure your new cam will make it even better . Did you or do you plan on any sort of chassis reinforcement to deal with all the extra torque you will be putting down? ..cant wait for updates on the build!

Call Hinson and ask him. I have since reconciled and will continue to purchase through him.
