I would go with a oil pan spacer that's because I have read that the built in baffling on the larger cap. oil pans can hurt more the help the motor in times of high "G" cornering in a G.

3.12 is stock for revup kits. 3.33 is stock for non-revup kits.

tap the upper oil pan and dont connect oil line to the spacer. it voids all warrenty and it will mess up your blower (from experience).

ya its best to tap the upper oil pan. I used to use the pan spacer for the return and I had bad seals on my blower as well. luckily my impeller also crashed into the volute, so they replaced everything. otherwise, i woulda been SOL.

I would go with the JWT oil pan spacer sense you don't need the spacer to have oil fittings. It's a nice piece only 90 bucks from infinitiparts.com and easy to install once you get the oil pan off man mine was glued on .

ok so,i will get the oil pan spacer but don't need one with the oil line return. what's the purpose of the oil spacer though? is it to have more oil for the SC?

oil pan spacer is to help cool the oil but it's not really needed unless u plan on tracking your car and even then I would also include an oil cooler to be on the safe side.

Yes I second the oil cooler when used with the spacer you add another 2 quarts of oil witch helps keep your oil cooler and less chance of oil starvation. As you know with the s/c using the same oil it's never a bad idea to have more capacity and cooler oil. Can you get away with no cooler or spacer yes but is it worth 300 dollars for both to risk it?

great info. Thanks you guys. I have another question regarding the Walboro fuel pump. The person I am buying from says that i need to buy a fuel return kit for the pump that he has. is this true? I was under the assumption that all i needed was the pump?? Thanks again!
