I don't have an update on this build, but we finished our 2JZ-GTE swap into a G35 coupe a few months ago and I posted it on supra forums. I finally got around to posting on this site so if you are interested in this swap you may want to take a look.

Also if you have a true interest in doing this swap please visit my website G352JZ.com for more information

I don't have updates on this swap, but if you have not already seen me and my buddy finished a 2JZ-GTE with a 6 speed Getrag swap into a G35 coupe a couple months ago. I posted it on supra forums, but have since done upgrades and posted it here too with the updates. Click the link below for more information.

I like! I have a 1963 Ford Falcon Convertible that I wanted to put one of those in. Regrettably, I just spent $5k rebuilding (and modifying) the original engine, so the swap ain't gonna happen. But yours is! Keep us posted.

Its been awhile.......but.....

Here is some of the progress that has been going on with our G35 Sedan 2JZ project.

All of the intercooler piping has been made. We used 3" inch aluminum piping through out the whole thing. We also have a 4" intake for the turbo that has been made too.

Down-pipe is in the process of being made. This will be a 3" down-pipe that will run into the original G35 3" exhaust that was on the car.

And the driveshaft is out being made at Carolina Driveshafts. This will be a 1 piece driveshaft that will have a R154 side and a G35 differential side for the completed shaft.

We are thinking the car may go on the rollers in the next couple of weeks as long as we run into no issues. I will post more progress pics and updates when available.

Got a couple of other small things finished up today.

Finshed up the downpipe and installed an S14 gas pedal to do away with the drive by wire system.

Getting closer everyday. Maybe have it on the rollors for a base tune by the end of the week. Fingers Crossed!!!!

Your saying after buying a 2JZ all of the turbo components and the wiring and fab work with custom driveshafts ect.ect it was cheaper than a $3,000 short block Still it is a cool build if your trying to be different however if your trying to save money unless you are getting hooked up deep on parts and free labor i can't see how this will be cheaper than a $3,000 short block.

I was meaning to purchase a built short block, a new twin turbo setup, aem standalone, etc. to do a full built motor 700HP VQ.

And we are getting hooked up pretty well on alot of the parts!
