Anyone still seeing issues with the Cosworth plenum

I may be asking a redundant question however, I just want to make sure if Cosworth correct the problems with this thing leaking under pressure before I have my sent out for powder coating. Dont wanna find out when it's too late and installed thanks.

I got one a few months ago with no issues but another member got one a month after mine and it had a casting issue where the intake couldn't hold pressure.

I powdercoated mine with no issues. Make sure they do not get the powdercoat on the mating surfaces so that the seal will be good.

thanks guys i knoe there was an issue with this thing under boost with leaking, but i was thinkin after the CF are sealed could you go around the edge wit silicon to make sure no leaks will occur?

i would advice my shop about the PC areas, i got this from latest batch of CW plenums form forge which were back order for like ever.. so hopefully these are new and improved.

some folks use RTV in addition to the rubber gaskets. i haven't had any problems with mine up to 13psi with just the gaskets & proper torque specs.

the jury is still oout about the gaskets and meth injection. rtv. blue locktite and fingers crossed seems to be the best solution. hope it works for me when i get a few more bolts in there

+1 on what Rich said, mine leaked at 19psi with meth injection. The end cap bolts all backed out and even after tightening them i couldnt regain a seal and after mentioning to others a few guys checked them and lots of guys had bolts backing out. I used blue lock tight and black RTV sealant along with the provided gasket and that seems to have cured the leaking. Keep in mind mine was polished by cosworth I think they were the most prone to leaking.
