R4 programming

Could anyone tell me exactly what the values in R4 programming do. Are these voltage output, and is there any kind of formula between R4 digit vs. fuel pressure/ timing retarding. Thanks in advance...

Re: R4 programming

Not sure what your saying but , Any number you see in the B map [timing] Is timing retard.....if you see a 2 or 4 or 6 , that is how many degree's of timing is being pulled at that rpm and boost . The fuel map [Amap] I dont know if its voltage or what...just know....you raise a number...more fuel...lower...less fuel......Hopes it helps

Couldnt afford it when young...gonna play when Im old

Each full number in the fuel map will increase or decrease(depending on whether it is positive or negative)the airflow meter voltage by.25 volts.A 10 would be equal to no change and a 20 would be equal to 2.5 volts being added to the airflow meter voltage.0 would be the equivilant of taking away 2.5 volts from the airflow meter voltage.
