Utec issues with large injectors

I did a "quick" search and did not see any info on this so don't slam me if it's been posted before.

Has anyone had issues running larger injectors on the utec? I herd at one time that the utec does not support over 750cc injectors on the G but I hear guys that say they tune 350's all day long with 1000cc injectors..

I put in 800cc and it's laying down on me right around 3000 grand. Can't lean it out enough to compensate. I went to 2 different tuners in Houston and same thing.

Any ideas?

can lean it out enough at 3000 rpms? you must mean in the 0% column?

In that case, you will need a reflash like mentioned above.

The problem with utec and larger injector is the Hotstart issue. It can handle 800cc.

+1 do you mean 0% column? Utec cant do much because the ECU is pretty much in control at that column. Utec only scale the ECU on the 0% column. If you are in the 0 column then it means you are just cruising around so your ECU is using the 02 sensor feedback to maintain your A/F around 14.7. Can you post what value you have in the troubled column.

Edit:
Are you sure your tuner know how to tune the Utec? Your parameters could be all fckup and your map could be also fckup up. If everything look good then call Turboxs coz it could just be bad driver on the Utec.

if its in the 0%, he might not be able to pull enough fuel.. I tried to setup a NA map with my 600cc injectors and never got it because I could never pull enough fuel. YOu could prolly do it if you were open loop 100% of the time, but you'd never tune like that with FI.

a simple reflash would fix everything. too bad its $$

I have RC750's with no problems. Not sure what the compensation is set at (it's been a couple years).
