Question Vortech Headers Question???

I have been doing a lot of searching and planning for when I add boost to my '04 6spd but had a question for those who already own a Vortech S/C. I have a Stillen dual exhaust with Berk HFCs. I was looking into purchasing the Stillen headers to complete the exhaust setup. However on Stillen's site it says something about contacting them before purchasing if you are going to run boost on them.

I wanted to know if any Vortech owners have changed their headers and if so what brand? I've seen a couple of Nismo ones but was wondering if everyone else has stayed stock or gone with something else?

*Yes I have been searching and didn't find what I was looking for, so I'm asking. This will be my first boosted car so guidance and advice is appreciated.

Stillen only posts that because you can't run headers w/their sc setup(doesn't make enough boost to hold PSI w/headers). headers are fine w/vortechs

Headers are definitely no problem with a Vortech and a proper tune.

Yeah I figured as long as it gets tuned it wouldn't be a problem. I didn't bother to ask Stillen because I didn't think they would know since the S/C I want to use isn't theirs.

Any case I already order a set, so now I have Stillen headers Berk HFC and Stillen Dual Exhaust. Thanks for the help and opinions.

I would get test pipes...HFC will fail overtime with boost. (AKA excess fuel.)
