I can actually speak from experience right now when I say that this is not necessarily true. I'm running 401 right now on a break in tune with the stock MAF and it's caused nothing but problems and shut downs to limp mode. Also, the HPX is no longer the best option available- the Uprev GT comes straight from Uprev and doesn't have any of the scaling issues the HPX had.

If you are going anywhere near 400, I would HIGHLY recommend that you take for granted that you're going with the upgraded MAF... at least if you're sticking with a piggyback that uses it.

I dont have the fuel return, but the HPX MAF, and everything has been smooth. The tuner I went to is the only authorized uprev tuner in the state. At the time (which wasnt that long ago), UpRev was selling the HPX maf, and supplied Xact dyno with the HPX maf, so he was familiar with it. Ill have to check out their new offering.

Sorry, when I said highly recommended the upgraded MAF- the fact that you're running with HPX is fine. I'm simply pointing out that as you start to get close to 400hp you need to look at an upgrade to the stock MAF, whether it be the HPX or the UGT.

Yeah, the guy was in Cali, didnt have many posts, and wanted someone to send the money so he could take it off the engine. Everyone thought it was a scam, so I rolled the dice and drove out to Cali, and turned out to be a legit deal. I helped him take it off the car.

Congrats on the FI! What setup did you go with?
