So I assumed its ok.

AGAIN...it works fine on the stock block up to a point. It will work on the 4.5L as well up to a point, but not if you are looking to make gobs of power.

No, it has more to do with back pressure than anything else. The intercoolers I use are rated for 1492 CFM.

If your IAT's are too high with a turbo kit, you have back pressure problems, not FMIC problems...for the most part.

I am not pulling this stuff out of my ***, this is all research done in the real world on the VQ.

It's funny how people think that if a GT35r makes 600 on a 1.8L honda motor, it will do the same on a 3.5L VQ.
dont forget a tune of fuel also..lol yea tuner kits will hit your pockets hard..

I am doing a build too. Thats already in the works. That was the main reason all this started. I have a sc now and my motor is on it's way out. I want to thank everyone for all this info. and time to respond back on this. Even tho alot of this i don't understand. lol...... and as far as tuner kits hitting your pockets ahhhhhh yea. I'm still tryin to figure where all the money is going. turbos ok around ( ball park ) we'll say $1600, the manifolds i have no idea I'm just maybe long shoting it $1500.... Thats $3100. Ok innercooler now this is all ballpark numbers. so innercooler kit we'll say $1200 That rt there is $4300. So there telling me the piping oil pan and some other hardware is $2200 dollors?????? Thats a little high.. I been reasearching when i can i just been real busy with work. so I get on here and there and look around as much as i can.

manifolds can be had for 900 from GTM, you can piece your own intercooler together pretty easily and it wont come near 1200. You need an EMS, injectors, fuel return, upgraded fuel pump.

You say piece the inner cooler together? Ok I'm cool with that. what about all the bent pipe? I mean i think $6700 is crazy. I know it's what people are paying but i seems like it would be cheaper to put the package together myself. Ok so what exactly would I need? 2 20g turbos, 2 manifolds, the innercooler, would i need 2 bovs? and 2 wastgates? Sorry may be crazy questions but i guess this is how you learn right.... thxs guys

You need 2 wastegates one for each turbo, and you just need one bov. You need an EMS.

No that will not take you to 600.

I doubt your injectors will be sufficient and the 255lph pump might fall short as well.
