My 06 coupe ( full build)
I'ts not stock....have to look at the spec. sheet but I want to say 9.1 cr. Not 100% tho... Why would you stay stock cr ? This is the internals: wiseco pistons .020 over, eagle rods, arp rod bolts, moly coated race spec main and rod bearings, hr head gaskets, heads ported and polished, Jim Wolf s7 cams, 5 angle valve job, Jim Wolf heavey duty valve springs, arp head and main bolts, I'm running a vortech sc with 928 upgrade and the 2.62 pully.... I'm lookin for 15 psi out of it but we'll see.... And like I said the cosworth intake, DC headers, motordyne art pipes, Hks exhaust or I may get the motordyne shock wave. ( I already have the hks tho).... right now from what the tuner told me the 600cc injectors should be ok and the walboro 255 fuel pump..... and I'm running the up-rev software. So we shall see!!! It's just a huge project. So dealing with this and running my buisness is alot of stress... Work takes up all my time so it will be little by little with all the updates. And thanks to everyone who likes the wheels!!!!!
Yes, I would not go any lower on a s/c car. Turbo, yes, but not s/c.
EDIT:
If you want high boost in low rpm's then you need a low compression build. The S/C does not make peak boost till max rpm, so it can handle the high CR, as the low rpm boost is low as well .
The car will not make much power and will feel slugish with lower than stock CR.

Yes what? No lower then what? Please... be more clear...... You wouln't go no lower then 9.1? I'm having somebody do the long block. The guy is highly rec. and I did research on him and it all checked out. I pretty much left that up to him.
I would not go lower than stock (10.3:1) CR with a supercharger setup.
I just edited the post above, please see that. To add to that, you will not have any detonation issues beacuse of the low boost from a supercharger at low (peak torque) rpm's.
This all has to do with detonation..tuning.
Turbo cars can build 15+psi under 4000rpm. You may see 8-10psi with your supercharge at that rpm.

Guess I'm gonna have to make a call tomorrow to see what exactly it is..If I'm right I don't know why a ccompany well known would make it lower then stock if that were gonna be a issue..

Thanks just read it.... I'll talk to the dude tomorrow. It really didn't say anything other then that dude said stock cr would make a little more power. I'll let you know tomorrow what he says.
Well talked to the builder also talked to the tuner and they both said the 8.8:1 is right where I want to be with what I'm doing. They both said if I were to run stock cr It really wouldn't really be a good idea to run pump gas.. I'm goona stick with the orginal plan. Thanks for the input tho.... Goin back down tomorrow to try and finish all the body work and get it ready for paint....
