For one thing the 5at will not hold up so you will need a fully built trans by either GTM or SFR.

of course the obvious question is what are your power goals and use of the car?

If your goal is 600WHP I think you need to start with a fully built engine. I don't think the stock block will hold. I'm no expert on such things but I've looked into building a VQ for 600whp and decided I'd need a built engine... and then put that idea on hold.

new MAF? don't think you need a new one. I've seen several setups with the current sensor. That depends on your EMS. What are you considering for tuning? Also, I recommend your get fuel return and at least upgraded fuel pump, if not twins, for either set up. Also, keep all the extra parts list for either set up.

It's funny how the set ups are similar and different at the same time. In the end you will have a longer list for sure.

For 600 whp, I don't think the stock MAF sensor will cut it. For the level of air flow you will need for 600 whp, you might need to upgrade the MAF sensor. This assumes that you are going with an ECU re-flash rather than an EMS.

If you use an HKS F-CON EMS, it is easier to eliminate the MAF sensor and use a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. From my understanding, the F-CON will work with a MAF sensor, but the configuration and/or tuning is more complicated and far more time consuming. I already looked into this.

I have not looked into using a MAF sensor with the Haltech and other EMS's, so ask your tuner. There was a thread on this probably about a year ago in the My350Z forum, so you might do a search there.

Also, look into how much hp a built auto tranny will take before you jump.

For 600 whp, you definitely should consider a fuel return system, you will need larger injectors, and an aftermarket exhaust system. You also might want to consider upgrading the rear axles, depending on how sticky your rear tires are.

If you go with the Greddy TT system, you might want to use a wastegate relocation kit. The Greddy TT kits sometimes experience boost creep at high boost levels without one. There was a thread on this in the My350Z forum a few years back.

I'm not sure the HKS Twin Power ignition system is needed. I have one, but some people claim to have seen no difference after adding it. I think XKR had one, but eliminated it in his latest build.

I wouldn't advise pushing that much power on a AT especially if you daily drive your car or do track days. Even with it built, its life will be short. All in all it depends on how hard you drive your car. If you track it and you are driving hard your trans will probably not last more than 1-2 years.
