Anyone Gone F/I w/ G35x Yet?

Just curious if there are any AWD F/I out there or thoughts on how F/I would work w/ the G35x.

Re: Anyone Gone F/I w/ G35x Yet?

After humiliating nearly any challengers on the streets for nearly 4 years with a modified '97 Mitus. GSX (350hp turbo & AWD), I've been waiting to see someone do this. I'm getting a coupe and will stay NA this time around, but the thought of a boosted AWD G does get my blood pumping. Major Q-ship potential!

I can't wait to see what sort of numbers a FI G35x lays at the strip.

But beyond that, on road surfaces where traction isn't ideal, you'll really aprpeciate the advantage of AWD.

Re: Anyone Gone F/I w/ G35x Yet?

Wouldn't you need a 6MT AWD to be able to put up very good numbers, or a very high stall tq converter? Are you guys planning to do smth about the tranny

Re: Anyone Gone F/I w/ G35x Yet?

Tranny, converter, and Quaife LSD if we can ever get the thing built.

Once you start putting some real power to the ground through the AWD system (which I'm told is very durable), I think the open diffs at both ends will start becoming a problem. I'm so far away from that being an issue right now, however

I do want to fortify the drivetrain first, then maybe a little bit of squeeze...
