Koyo radiator clearance

I want to upgrade my radiator before I have my vortec sc installed. I'm looking at the Koyo V-series - thickness of 36mm. I know the radiator is advertised as being a direct replacement with no modifications, but I would like the added confidence of knowing that some of you have this setup. Read a few different posts online about it rubbing..trying to clear any uncertainties before I make the purchase..

It will fit, my friend is running the exact setup on his rev-up G. Requires a little trimming if your using the OE fan shroud but its pretty simple.

+1 its a direct replacement, you shouldn't have any clearance issues with it. I'm running the Z version on my G and have several friends that have the Z and G versions, no issues.

Thanks guys. Did either of you replace the thermostat as well? I guess I might as well.

I have yet to see a stock one fail, but if you want the extra piece of mind go ahead. Only replace with Nismo or OE, the aftermarket solutions that are currently available are much less reliable, we do replace those quite often.
