simpler nitrous

I bought(60bucks) & installed this last year... I really like it. claims 35-50hp "burst" for 4-6 seconds. It feels like those claims are right on. It uses a simple trigger and small "bottles" of nitrous, that are intended for whipped cream cans used in the food service indusrty(very clean nitrous). Also a 8ft poly tube "punched" thru my Z-tube after the intake sensor. Just load the bottle, pull the trigger and vrooooooooom.

no i don't sell these, I actually bought mine on eBay(love eBay). i've since bought extra bottles from another seller with a much better deal (33cents a bottle)

very simple & cheap no need for purges, wires etc...

Heres my 1st post regarding a race with an S2000. 2 lanes on our side, I'm 2nd in line behind him in our lane. He has those big cans for mufflers and his top down. I rev him from behind, he revs back. Oh ya, it's on! At the green he hits it... I hit it... as soon as we clear the cars in the right lane I pull over, hit the juice and walk on by>>> >> no trouble at all, I'm even kinda of suprised. We glide to the next light, he salutes me, and of course were both still ready to go... so from a rolling start (~10mph) the light ahead turns green.... we go again... and yes I walk on him... again... yeah for me!!! I was very happy & I'm sure he was not.

do you have to squeeze and hold or does one squeeze discharge the bottle? also, where on your z-tube did you punch the line through?

Hey Baileyrx! what's up with this "Mini" nitrous kit? Sounds real interesting. How about a brand name, contact or link to it on Ebay? I NEED One. Thanks

mini nitrous. I like that!

on ebay search cheater nitrous kit infiniti (45bucks). That's the guy I bought it from. The trigger is a different style, but same idea. I'll post pics in an hour or so of my set up.

note: the hole into the z-tube was not drilled, I used an "awl", sharp pointy thing that looks like an carpenters ice pick, if I pull out the tube the hole basically closes itself up. Also no little plastic pieces in the intake.

when racing I normally leave it in normal auto mode and hit & hold the trigger, starting as soon I'm sure my tires won't start spinning and I squeeze the turds out of it til my fingers get numb, or I win whichever comes first. They spray last for about 5-7 seconds. Most street races last...what... 5-10 seconds... top. For you stick guys it would be a trick to squeeze & shift at the same time. Maybe you can duck tape it to the shifter.haha

Beautiful! just the toy I need to quiet down some of those 17 year old EVOmaniacs and maybe surprise my bro in his Z06. How often do you use it? had any engine issues at all since you been using it? I'm always a bit a paranoid because my toy only has about 9600 miles on it. I'm also a little worried that I might fill up a couple of balloons of the stuff while I'm drivin'! Thanks for the info and pics.

in the past year i've used it maybe 35-40 times. in races and sometimes on open highway just to have fun. I had about 8-9k miles when i put it in(16k now). I haven't noticed any problems yet.
