ATF temp probe location

Would like to add a temperature gage for the AT fluid. Looking for ideas on a logical location for the probe. Has anyone used this test port?

AT folks please chime in.

THX

I welded a bung on transmission pan for a mechanical temp gauge. Dont see reason pressue port wouldn't work for a electric gauge application.Only draw back is its dead headed and not exposed to transmission oil flow for more accuracy.
