what is is the ID of that tube ?
im thinking of making one out of 2.5 stainless

the ID is 3"

The stock vortech piping setup has a 2.5" transitioning to 3" piping, so making a setup 2.5" all the way through the piping will be more restrictive...

keeping in mind that 2.5 ID will support over 400 hp depending on which Mach number you use in your calculations... I prefer to keep the velocity up for cylinder filling.
