serious fi question
Tinman,
Two hours is nothing. Last Summer Korz drove all the way from Chicago so I could beta test a window module on his car. I myself have seen Gs/Zs in Chicago, Dayton, Philly, Nashville, and Tampa (although all were work related trips - tampa was vacation)
Randy,
What is the feasability of changing pullys 'on the fly?' Don't you have to heat the pullys and pop them off? It doesn't sound like something I would want to attempt very often (do the the unpredictableness of heated metal)
16PSI would freakin rock!

This is going to be extremely loud. With a SCer you can't just change pullys as needed like you can with a boost controller on a turbo. If you get the 16psi pullys you will be at 16psi EVERY day. Its really not a sensable way to go if you want to drive the car everyday and take the woman out on nice dates. I always get comments now on my stock boost ATI supercharger that my car sounds like 'boost' whenever I pull in anywhere. If the car is going to be a weekend warrior or something then disregard this info, I just thought I would throw it out in case you over looked it (like I did at the beginning).
By the way...I got my car back and it is now running and will be breaking it in for the next 500 miles .Then tune it to go to about 5,000rpm and what ever boost I get at that rpm . Then after 1,500 miles I'll tune for full boost

The SC is rated at 55,000rpm tops [ not sure on the exact #] You would have to have upgraded bearings put in it to spin it up to 65,000rpm . And then after doing that and getting the right serp , cog , and blower pulley's on to get 16lb's of boost . The intercooler more than likely will have to be upgraded also .Some thing on the lines of a APS intercooler [ better design ] .
