need help asap
i just got my turbonetic kit installed. my problem that i am having is that the car is running really lean. i got the walbro 255 and the rc 440. injectors was cleaned and pressure tested and pump is brand new. please let me know why my car is running so lean that it seems to want to cut off please help me out
Yeah- or lack thereof.
Op if you want help you'll need to add more detail- unless that's really all you got in which case park your car and don't touch it until you get some advice. Either that or start putting money aside for a new motor.

I had a base tune put in with uprev. Car had the 440 Injectors on with a stock fuel pump ran at 14.6. Then when I installed the walbro 255 it started to run around 16.8 for a few mins until it warmed up then it ran to 17.9. The car then started to sound like it is running out of gas
I'm bored so I'll actually try to help you. Besides I left my flame thrower in the other room and I'm too lazy to go get it.
According to your post the car ran fine until you swapped the fuel pump... if nothing else changed but its suddenly running like d^ck after you installed a new fuel pump I would venture to bet that you either have a defective pump or you screwed it up somehow. Not necessarily a tuning issue, although I would not recommend driving around on the base tune much.
Also need to clarify if you personally installed the kit or if you had a shop do it

What do you mean by base tune? Was it tuned N/A or with the FI? After that you installed a 255 FP? You might want to be more specific when asking for others help, so that they can actually help you...
Did you install the FP, or the shop that did the kit install it?
Was it done using all the modifications, like below? Or just a straight swap?

Do you hear a constant whine / whir in the back seat? Possible you pinched that o ring that sits under the bracket for the fuel pump. May be preventing the system from pressuring up as it needs to.
Easy to figure out- you'll smell fuel because it'll be leaking under your back seat.

i had a guy do it thats done a few of these cars before. when i had the stock pump in it ran fine but when i put the walbro in it started to miss. i was told that it can be a plenum gasket leaking
When you install an aftermarket fuel pump in the 350z/G35 you got to mod the fuel pump assembly a little. Here a link http://blog.cj-motorsports.com/2011/...tallation.aspx
Do you hear the fuel pump whine when the key is on the position? A base tune is not good depending on what other mods you have too. If you check and the fuel pump is all good I would say you need a retune.

Not sure there would be ANY question at all if that were the case- it's a pretty distinctive high pitch whistle. At least that's my understanding from spacer leaks- I'm assuming it's the same.
Vague. Its like your writing this while chewin' on a hamburger..
If it's a plenum leak, then a quick boost leak test will answer it.
I'm not even going to bother pointing out that the plenum and fuel pump are about as unrelated as your back seat and tire pressure.
