Update: I was away on vacation for 3 weeks. I gotta say that driving in France is awesome. Everyone stays to the right depending on speed, and only uses the far left lane for passing. Traffic flows so well & everything just works! Beautiful.
Rob had to order some more parts and wait forever for them to arrive. This week they will be digging in and installing everything. Then the tuning starts...
Until then I've been driving my little 1.6 diesel VW rabbit pick-up truck. Even with the turbo & fuel turned up, it's pushing maybe 80 hp. Maybe. Best run is 17.9 @ 75 mph. Oh well. at least it gets 45 mpg.

Update!
Here is the latest: My car is almost done! This project has taken longer than expected, but this is the first time Rob has done anything like this, and he is a perfectionist. The return fuel system is in, the Vortech is installed, the ethanol analyzer is plumbed in, and the Haltech is up and running. Rob spent many hours teaching the Haltech what to do based on E% content.
Drum roll please... Here are the dyno results:
Pump gas (91): 420 hp / 340 tq
E85: 462 hp / 368 tq
Since this is on the stock block and rotating assembly, we decided not to push it further, even though there is more power to be had. That will have to wait for phase two: a built engine that can handle (more) serious power.
I should have the car back next week, so then I can assess the drivability difference with the E85. Look at the graph below and notice how smooth the curve is on E85 vs. lumpy on 91.
Can't wait to get some seat time...

Want to swap maps and see what our tuners think of the others tune?
I have Walbro 485 pump, DW1000cc injectors, -8 supply line, full -6 return inc inside fuel basket. Did have AAM rails but one corroded and fuel sprayed out everywhere, lost 45L in 10mins... So now i ordered CJM with fuel dampener.

My boost is at just about 10 lbs at 7000 rpm. Again, since this is the stock block with 120K on it, we aren't going to push it with a smaller pulley, etc. If you look at my dyno graph, there is a separate box at the bottom that shows boost.
Are you using a Haltech ECU? If so, we should be able to trade maps. If not, I don't know if that would work.
It's interesting that our power levels are almost identical. Pulls hard as the revs climb.
Do you have any issues when it's cold? Mine runs a bit rough and sometimes stalls out when it's cold. Runs amazing once the engine temp gets up past 140.
