I see no use in a boost gauge for a s/c I would go with a AEM A/F wideband , Fuel Pressure and EGT

TT__G35,

sorry, i meant to say AIR/FUEL gauge, my bad.

yes my A/F gauge can be calibrated to match the dynos gauge exactly to make sure its spot on, the Zeitronix is a nice unit, that was my 2nd choice, but due to the fact that i dont like the look of the AEM, the greddy fit more into the look i wanted, i got it.

there have been a few people with the vortech having significant boost issues(low boost), so i think a boost gauge is justified. or you could just hook it to a laptop all the time. lol. i know thats whats coming.

Yeah I think a boost guage is very necesarry on a supercharger just to make sure you are making boost when you are supposed to.

I'm buying all my stuff from Paul at Avalon Racing and they're doing a partial install for me (the stuff that's easier to do under a lift). I'd recommend the AEM Wideband AFR, and a boost and fuel pressure gauge (I'm getting the Defi Ds). A number of guys have had fuel line leaks or fuel pump problems. This could potentially lead to a sudden increase in AFR and detonation. If your AF is running right, I don't think you need to worry about EGT which is just a poor man's way of monitoring AFR. Boost is essential just to know that your blower is working right. Also, I'm getting the JWT spacer just to keep things running cooler and maybe slightly stretch out the every 3000 mile oil changes that Vortech recommends. Finally, Paul is installing my three gauges in the nav pocket so they can be hidden from view when I want.
