Says it comes with 2 50 foot rolls, which sounds like a lot, but I know how fast that stuff can go. The cold pipes I have already have that reflective yellow stuff which is fine, but I dont like how bright it is, and I like how it looks when wrapped with the DEI stuff. I came across a supercharged Z a few weeks back that had all pipes wrapped in this and it looked good and kept the engine bay clean and serious looking.

 

Wrap is never a good idea. It is miserable to work with, it only looks good for a short period and it causes corrision by trapping the water and raises the temperature of the pipe beyond its structural limits.

Just get them jet-hot coated. They now offer tons of colors and it will end up looking even better, plus last for years.

Have you had this done? Whats the turn around time?

 

Ive had several parts coated from jethot. It really is best you contact them for quotes. They will tell you exact price and turn around time, instead of my guesses. But for everything I have done, it takes about a week (plus shipping).
