*** Easiest way to remove/repair cracked Greddy manifold*****

Anybody have any input as to the easiest way to remove the greddy manifold to have a crack welded? I'm trying to figure out what the best approach is to remove it. Cause if u ask me by looking at it I would say pull motor but I would obviously rather not if I don't have to.. thanks in advance. ..

Should we assume you are referring to an exhaust manifold on a turbo setup? Passenger or drivers side? I did headers myself last spring, and it isnt easy, but totally doable. Youll probably have to remove the coolant pipe from whatever side of the motor your working on to gain access. And creativity with sockets, extensions and swivels is a necessity.

Yes the manifold the turbo bolts to. It's the passenger side.. I was looking and also thought that cooling pipe would def need to be removed... When you did it were you doing it on a turbo set up?

Just drop the subframe and lower it out. After doing a wastegate spring swap and lifting the motor up and down at least 4 times to get the right angles it takes about the same time as if you were to just drop it motor and trans and go from there
