more info on the Tranny - what up with that?
I was planning on just doing the VB upgrade when I go APS ST, but if I instead hold off and go built motor w/ APS TT to 550 HP, I want to be 100% sure my tranny will holdup... what boost/power #'s are you shooting for?
sorry i missed your post.the tranny still sitting at the shop waiting for swap.550hp IS ALOT OF POWER, i highly recommend upgrading the tranny.i'm planning on having 500whp or so for everyday driving.but i will turn it up a few notches just to see what it can do.
I have that grounding kit!
did you notice any differents? i bought mine just for dress up purpose.i don't think it'll gain any performance wise.or if it does, very little.
How much does it cost?
paid mine $32

Yeah, I paid like 32 on ebay. I didn't notice much difference. It looks cool, and it's funny that's what I get the most attention from when the hood is open. Keep my picture, because when you go to install it it won't make sense. It's really not for our cars.

So what are you doing with the stock ECU? Are you using e-manage (or another piggy back) or are you going with a complete swap out? Very interesting project you have going on here...

the only thing i've done to ECU was rasing the rev limiter by TS.no e-manage.It is the Split Second FTC engine management which controls fuel and timing. It has the ability to datalog and has real time digital gauges(if you have your laptop connected)It also has a built in MAP sessor which it uses to monitor boost pressure and makes its adjustments.Basically this system is one of the best piggy back systems on the market for the price and it works very well.

TT, I have got a set of heads, complete with the cams, etc... sitting here (as I had bought a complete long block when I was doing my engine). Let me know if you are interested.
