Yes it can be returned to stock in less than 8 hours. I would recommend you get the autosport wiring harness. This way you don't splice the factory ecu wires. With the wiring harness you would plug the factory ecu wire in the patch and then the patch goes into the ecu. You then connect the split second box to the wiring harness. If you ever go back to stock no one would ever know you messed with the ecu.

question:when vortech quotes the horsepower #'s is that to the wheels or from the flywheel. with a 9lb pully what are the hp #'s being produced. I am looking into a supercharger but only if i can run around 450 to the ground. i do understand i would have to have the bolt ons stuff like headers etc. just not wanting to get taken down by many stock z06's and stangs. if anyone could post some info it would be appreciated

With the stock 8lbs pulley, you can get about 400 to the wheels. 9lbs, around 415...that's about the HP limit anyways without rebuilding the motor...if you want north of 415, you gotta go TURBO and a built motor...PM me with ANY questions regarding the Vortech. I've had mine for 9,000 miles and NO problems.

hey thanks for the reply. its such a hard decision. go supercharged or save more and go with turbo. that is save in order to do a turbo application right.

I used to have the vortech. If the single turbo who have been out when I bought the s/c I would have gone that route. It is only a couple of hundred more and has room for more power in the future. If you go with the APS ST you will be just as safe without building the motor as if you went with a s/c.
