Vortech Fuel System Question

Can you run 440s with the R4 software Vortech provides? Also, what is the duty cycle of the stock injectors at the stock Vortech boost level? Is the 155lph fuel pump Vortech provide sufficient or should I consider Walbro 255lph fuel pump? Thanks in advance

From what I understand (and you can PM DFWG35 for sure), you'll need a TechnoSquare reflash for the 440's. As far as duty cycle for the stock setup goes, it is def sufficient since I've had my system on for 9k miles with NO problems under "spirited" driving conditions.

Thanks. I want to know the actual duty cycle % though... what sizes are the stock injectors?

I don't know the exact size of the injector, but I've heard that with the stock Vortech system, we're running over 100% duty cycle.

Hmmm... that's not safe at all. I guess I will be looking to upgrade my injectors if I go with Vortech. Thanks a lot!

"I don't know the exact size of the injector, but I've heard that with the stock Vortech system, we're running over 100% duty cycle."

"How can you run over 100% duty cycle- That means the injectors are open MORE than continuously? Kind of impossible in this dimension anyway.

Dont know about the duty cycle . But the the R4 will handle the 440 injectors . I have 550's and I didnt have a problem doing it . I did end up flashing for them , I thought that my problems of idle and start up was from the injectors and trying to scale them with the R4 . That wasnt the problem...it was wiring of the Zietronics

I don't know...ask the Infiniti Tech that told me that...thus the "I've heard" part.
