I do not see how TT on a G is any different than an SC on an AT. I have had one for a while now, PE TT in my case, and there are no noticeable issues with the tranny. It is not slipping, as it does not go into limp mode, nor does the AT fluid has a burnt appearance/odor. HTH

I'm positive that an auto G35 coupe with an APS twin turbo system would be a real bullett even with low boost pressure (quicker than a 6 speed MT) and I recommend that you have the valve body upgraded to ensure a quicker gear shift and to avoid potential clutch damage to the auto trans.
Thanks
Peter
Im having the APS TT done once the parts arrive for G35. Also having the " valve body " and " torque converter " upgrade. That will improve nearly 1 sec. on 1/4 mile time..... IMO, FI on a 5AT will be faster and easier to handle on 1/4 mile drag than 6MT.
Yeah I know, manual trans is just more sportier and sometimes more fun to drive, but I just prefer having my 5AT.

not a singe one of my friends told me any positive aspects of AT car with TT kit.
most of them says "waste of money" or go for SC
i got another question for those who are on AT with TT kit side.
why did you choose to go with TT kit instead of SC?
i think its pretty hard to answer other than saying "because i like it better
"
thanks all

Well the obvious (and correct) answer is that it is better than SC in EVERY WAY, EXCEPT cost.

Actually I was interested in buying a Vortech SC, until I sat on a 350z TT and a Stillen SC G35. Man, after feeling that 350z I was sold on getting a Turbo kit. Nothing wrong with SC kits, I just like the feel and the sound of a Turbo car. Not to mention the high HP and the crazy " torque " power you get at low and mid range. Although I still would'nt mind having a Vortech SC kit. ..... If you can afford it, I think either SC or Turbo will suit your need for speed on your 5AT. Kick-back, press gas and GO!.... Hang-on for your dear life.

In addition a twin turbocharged engine will be more fuel efficient in day to day driving conditions than all after market supercharged engines - a thoroughly engineered twin turbo is also more expensive up front than supercharging though ultimately delivers the best power, torque, and fuel efficiency across the entire engine operating range imho.
Hope this helps.

JDM...This IS the answer i would write. And the notion that SCs are built for ATs or anything to the effect of 'ATs can only handle SCs, etc.' is a misrepresentation...
there is nothing wrong with ether one. you are going to have a blast with tt or sc. the only reason why i went with s/c for my 5at g is reliability. your car will last so much longer because it doesn't endure the abuse of tt. sc tend to get you the low end torque vs high end for the tt. as you can see the car handles much better and will last longer if you don't push the high rpms. now, the manual transmition is designed to handle more abuse at higher rpms. that's why you see a lot more people with tt on the manuals.
just my 2c.
just my 2c.
