Turbonetics G35???
I just wanted to see if anyone has tried to put a Z kit on a G35 yet. I know that Turboetics is working on a kit for the G. I'm just curious if someone wanted to try to put a Z kit on a G35 what issues they might run into. From what I've heard that the only major issue that could hold up the install is the A/C lines being in the way. Are there any other issues you guys can think that may stop the install? Thanks.

I'm a Turbonetics dealer, and I just spoke with my sales rep about this the other day. There will also be issues with fitment of the intercooler/intercooler piping because the Z and the G have diffrent front bumpers. There were some other things he told me that I forgot about. They have a test car G there, and they're working on completing the kit for the G. They said another couple months.

APS TT had the same issue with the 350Z kit fitting the G35, so they made a supplemental kit for the G35. However several guys already have the APS TT installed on their G, simply having the shop make the bracket and piping to fit the intercooler. Im sure it would be the same case for the Turbonetics kit. Should be no problems fitting the KS bumper.

I've been looking at that option. It's more expensive and I was told that you had to go with there exhaust system. Is this true?
Also, why is that if you have after market headers you have to return the to stock if you go FI?

turbonetics should be fine with aftermarket headers, since the exhaust piping starts from the header down. other turbo kits will replace the headers (stock or aftermarket) with manifolds. with the APS single, you will only need a single piped exhaust. for example, the injen dual pipe will not work without a custom y-pipe.

Ya I have the Injen exhaust so it looks like I'll have to mod it if I go with the APS. What sucks is how do you get the car to the exhaust shop with the kit on so they can make it work. I guess you could test kit the kit first but then how would you know for sure the mod'ed exhaust will work. Will the Turbonetics require any exhaust mods?
I guess I'd like to go with either kit I just want to avoid any major issues. I want the easiest kit to install with the least amount of addition work.

All Turbonetics kits are special order kits, the lead time for the Z is 4-6 weeks. Since the G kit is not out yet, there is no lead time, but they are already taking orders, they are expecting 2-3 months.
