ATI Supercharger kit available for G35 Coupe!
Yes, this is correct. I talked to ATI and their 350Z Intercooled Supercharger kit does work also on the G35 Coupe with no additional modifications. It will not work on the Sedan though. They said there were several fitting issues with the Sedan. There test 350Z cars are putting down around 370 rwhp with the kit alone. They estimate the installation to take 8 hours and recommend professional installation. From my experience, if you can redo the upper end on an engine this should be pretty easy to install. If you don't even install your own struts, this will probably be a lot than you are ready to handle.
Here is some sale info on the kit:

no...370 rwhp total. and that rwhp (rear-wheel horse power) is basicaly how much horse power is actually at the tires after drivetrain loss.
Stock our cars have 280 hp, but ~240 RWHP. the supercharger puts us at ~430 HP at the crank

Considering that the only differences between the G35 and the 350Z for power are the intake and exhaust, 350Z's are putting out over 250 rwhp with these 2 mods. We should be at the same power level with the same mods. The SC does come with a cold air, so no separate intake is necessary. But, I would expect a car with the ATI kit, headers and exhaust to be close to 400 rwhp or about 450-460 flywheel HP. Not bad for some bolt-ons.
Here is one other thing to keep in mind. 300 ZX-TT's with dual intakes, intercoolers, ECU, jets, test pipes and exhaust(basically Stage V+) still make 25 rwhp less than the supercharger does by itself bolt-on on a 350Z or G35 coupe. It would take upgraded turbos for an older Z to go faster. So there is definitely a lot of potential in these cars.

Having an ECU with the SC could be a dangerous problem. Normally ECU tuners take a lot of the extra richening out that the factory provides and increases timing to make more power. Increasing timing under boost isn't a good thing. Unless it is a program written for boosted cars, avoid upgrading your ECU at the same time. I have a feeling Technosquare will do a boosted ECU program when they have a car to test.
BTW, there is an SC group deal going on from the 350Z forums. Here is the link for anyone interested:

Re: ATI Supercharger kit available for G35 Coupe!
I posted the following on freshalloy too:
I asked a superchargersonline tech on their online forum whether the G35Coupe can use the same SC as the 350Z...here is what he said.
"It will get the same kit (part number) BUT there are some changes in the tubing for the G35. So when ordering you have to tell us if you have the G35 or the 350Z."
So does that mean we can order and install NOW?
I'm still debating between getting CAI & exhaust, or the SC. If I get the SC I would basically leave everthing else stock as I don't want to generate too much power and therefore too much strain on my stock engine/transmission.
What do you guys think? A little under $2,000 for a good CAI & catback exhaust, or $5,000 for a SC with a lot more power.
