Hey Guys

Just thought i'd share these with you.

Adding a second auxbox and an LMA-2 accesories to my datalogging sweet...for a 15 channels simultanous datalogging and analysis, including timign advance.

Will share those when I get it going.

As far as the fuel system is concerned, it wasn't just the rails. I put in a -8AN line going from the tank, through a short-loop return system, to a wye, splitting off into two -6AB lines, goign to the fuel rails, and then jumpering the rails again at the end to equalize the fuel pressure to the best extent possible.

I used the AAM fuel rails, with CJM assembled wye. Everything else (all the lines, fittings, etc.) were ordered separately from Summit Racing and hand assembled. Have been doing these for the first time, but it's not difficult if you read and follow the instructions.

In the last picture, you can also see the close-up of the excellent Kavlico-based Autometer 0-5v output fuel pressure sending unit (0-100psi range), which will tie into my Innovate suite for monitoring and logging. Lastly, in the first two pictures you can also see the heat-resistant Motordyne lower plenum gasket. Testing by Tony and others (DaveO) have seen temendous plenum temperature drops.

looking good. just wondering, is your fuel pressure regulator before the fuel rails?

what's your return setup like? did you buy that special adapter for stock fpr with that special return line from CJM too?

yep I did...the special one for the sedan that I initially asked him to make for us, the "forgotten G" one.

My return system is the short-loop type. Basically I have the regulator bleeding off the excess pressure off a t-configuraton off the main line that comes out of the tank. And that 'regulated' line is what goes to the rails. This forward control type setup is good for at least 600 whp, it seems. Essentially this is the same system as the stock on, the APS one, and the PE one. So instead of having a constant FP of 51 psi (stock), I now have a constant differential pressure (which is how it must be) of about 55-60 psi (will measure the exact number soon).

The only problem with this type setup is that injector 5 will see a higher fuel pressure than injector 6. I would put the feed into the driver's side as this is always the leanest cylinder and might benefit from the highest fuel pressure. Just a thought.

Not quite understanding why. I do not have a single feed going into the pass side and returning to the d-side via that jumper. I have a Y going to BOTH sides simultaneously. THe jumper at the end is just meant to be only a pressure equalizer.

In this setup, injectors 1/2 will see a lowe pressure than injectors 3/4, and those in turn will see a lower pressure than injecotrs 5/6, which if anything is probably good because the rear cylinders run a bit hotter. This is all kind of academic anyway, as these rails are very high in volume, more so than CJM's rails (according to CJ himself), which helps out in a situation like this.
