Vortech bypass valve questions...

Anyone have a pic of this thing? Does it re-circulate into the system or discharge to atmosphere? If it does pssssh, is it loud? Having been around turbo'd cars, I would much rather use a hKS or tial BOV, but wonder if its setup the same or not. I search online but cannot find much info on this part of the kit....Thanks!

Ask Randy (Randys_G) he has a Vortech. I know he has some sort of noise makinf device. I think from what he said it was the bypass that came with the kit. He could tell you more about it.

The Bypass isnt quite the same as a BOV . The bypass stays open under vacuum and closes when the vacuum gets low enough . Then as boost rises...the boost helps keep it closed till you let off the gas .

I assume you were the silver z with the defi and zietronix...Awesome dude. Makes me wanna buy the setup yesterday. Sounds a lot like the greddy type-s. I have had a lot of BOV setups and the Type-s leaked. I found the HKS SSQBOV and tial to be the best

Booger - I think with this vortech kit, it is a BOV. I saw pictures of a Vortech setup on a domestic something where it was a black bypass valve (like the bosch ones on older saabs) whereas the ones with this kit look like this

I know what the Vortech Maxflow Bypass BOV looks like . It doesn't work the same as a normal BOV .
