What Kind of Motor oil is everyone Using?

What weight and viscoccity motor oil is everyone using with their TT or SC set up?

What's the best oil to use for the Chicago winters for a Vortech? Yes...yes, I will be driving it a little in the winter. I currently use Mobil 1 10w-30 but that was pre-SC.

Since it get very cold I would use 5w-30 synthetic(mobile 1, castrol syntec, etc) just not mobile high endurance because it has too many anti-wear agents that will cause foaming in an FI application(hasn't been proven but if you plan on changing every 3k their is no use). I would get the oil tested at blackstone labs to make sure that the zinc content isn't too high(indicating a higher viscosity is needed). Hope I did more help than hurt.

doesn't APS recommend you use 10W-40 with their kits?
