Heres the thing. Its a LOT of work to do these. The only way I can get the price to where it is will be to make one and make a mould. That cuts my time down to about five hours or so for each one. I can do custom ones but the labor rate is going to be higher. The one part your looking at is not even close to done. I just wanted to post it so you guys can get a idea. That part in the end will have about 10 hours in it. No BS!

 

Have you thought of an exchange basis for that console piece, like Crawford used to do? It really is beginning to look good.

CRAP! Well, without EDFC, I'm out. That's where my EDFC is now, so I would have needed that. How how much if you need a two 52mm with edfc and gauges, like you showed in the original post?

 

Well I would have to build a cage for it. Or find a way to make it stay in. Thats why I really didnt want to do it. I also dont know if you would have to cut out behind the console so it would fit. As for price Im guessing a three pod or EDFC would make it about 100.00 more.

 

Ok guys I should have this one and another one in primer tomorrow. Who on the first page wants this one and with what two gauges? As for the other one it can be a three pod but will have no hazard. It will be 150.00 more WITH a 3rd gauge. Or it can be another two gauge console. After this I dunno when Im going to get more consoles in. I have nine on order right now but they are back ordered.

 

how did you do the one in the first pic you showed...where EDFC was there?

 

Randy there was no EDFC. man i think there are like somewhere on about 5 or more members that want this console with the edfc put in. Only if this could be done.

 

Like I said it can be done, its just going to cost more. You guys know me, anything can be done.

Just a thought here. Are you aware that there were two console pieces available in 2003. The early Coupe had one with no ash tray, ir had a cubby. That was the one used before the console change, when the Coupe used the "Z" console. I don't know that part number, but it should work for this application. Both are interchangeable with the later console. I'm one of the one's who retrofited the later console, and I'm still using the piece with the cubby. The early one may be easier to get. Just a thought.
