Re: NOS Kit

I have a Zex kit that I was going to install, but with the GReddy TT kit coming, I showed great restraint.

It's all there, ready to install.

$325.

Super Big G... what are you trying to plug with that nonsensical link to your supposed girlfriend? Looks like some homoerotic gayness if you ask me. Trying to fool us g35 driver users into looking at d*ck ... That makes me sick.

I'm now going to vomit. Thank you.

Re: NOS Kit

The mods are aware of, and dealing with, that link. See? It's gone now.

It's an evil site, too.. trys to get you to download something, then when you click NO, pops up a box saying "You have to click yes" and then pops up the download box again... rinse and repeat. I had to use keyboard shortcuts to close everything fast enough.

For those of you that don't have it, I recommend both antivirus software and a popup blocker of some type. Helps greatly in these situations. I'm trying out the new beta version of the Google Toolbar with builtin popup blocker, and it seems to work better than several others I've tried.

Re: NOS Kit

Luckily I'm using Safari on Mac and it includes a pop-up blocker. The days of evil pop-ups are behind me.

Re: NOS Kit

Hey! Pestilence I see we have the same horse power and set up. I'm 279 at the wheel but if I were you I wouldn't put that you have 350.7hp at the crank. I told everyone I have 349 crank hp but there were alot of people who doubted me. But you and I know that Mark from bottle blown knows his stuff. I ran into alot of people who questioned me of having 349 crank hp because I only had 279hp at the wheel. Alot of those idiot were saying I should have 325 at the crank, since 325x.86=279.5hp. But you and I know .86 is just an average and auto will lose more hp at the wheel. Anyway! I think you will be in the 13.4 on the quarter mile. I use my NOS from a dead stop till the end of the quarter mile. Good luck and have fun.

Re: NOS Kit

Rambo, rather than slam the kit I'm offering for sale, how about posting the reason why the reviews are bad. I'm trying to sell a kit, your post as a moderator should have a bit of substance to it rather than a sky is falling comment....

Re: NOS Kit

Frank, im not slamming your kit, just telling the truth about some Zex kits, just beware. Go to my350z.com forums for more details, like i said earlier. Thats plenty substance.

Re: NOS Kit

You don't have to scan the dyno sheet on my count. Trust me, I know you have 349 crank hp. Also did he install the nitrous before the MAF sensor? Alot of people are confused because he install the nitrous before the MAF rather then after.

Re: NOS Kit

nosg35,

No one doubted that you had that much crank horsepower; they were on your case because you said that you had your car dynoed "at the crank." Which, of course, you did not. It was dynoed at the wheels and then the crank HP was calculated. I think that most of the confusion was due to that simple statement. Truth is, you really don't know how much crank HP you have; none of us do unless we pull the engine out of the car.

Re: NOS Kit

The complaints about the Zex kit revolve around poor customer service. The consensus is that they are indeed easy to install and provide great performance. But if you have any problems, the report is that the guys on the other end of the line are definitely lacking a "the customer is always right" attitude. Mind you, this is coming from primarily two guys on my350Z.com, at least one of whom seems to be rather easily antagonized. That story is, however, useful for outlining the problems in finding colder sparkplugs to fit our engines (if you want to spray more than 75), so by all means track it down if you're interested in NOS kits.
