Greddy TT question

I am very interested in having a Greddy TT installed on my 04 5AT coupe but I was wondering how reliable would this be? Would I be able to use it as an everday driver, and on stock internals? And how long would my engine last in the long run, I currently have an HKS hi-power exhaust but that is the only engine mod. I have. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

--spend extra money for a better kit! Install, reliability, finish, performance and gas miliage all suck.
Otherwise go supercharger.

Would the APS be a better choice or would yall still recomend replacing the internals if I were to put any turbo kit on. replacing the internals is what I was trying to avoid having to do all at once. I really wanted to go FI but i wanted to go TT but, I might just have to settle for a supercharger.

You can go either APS TT or Greddy. With Greddy kit you will need a return fuel system, shielded CAS wire, Walbro 255, timing harness and a very good tune, to keep it running safely. Best to stay with stock boost and at 400rwhp or less. With APS kit, its possibly the most complete kit out of box. No tuning needed, if your G is completely stock. Once you add mods that make it run lean, you'd better have a qualified unichip tuner in your area. Vortech or Stillen SC would also be a good choice.

thanks for the informative response GXCLUSIV, that helped me alot with what I was trying to get to. Sounds like the APS would be a good choice but is the HKS Hi-Power exhaust going to be a problem with my car running lean or would I be alright, I dont have any mods except that cat-back sys.

thanks

Your HKS high power is only 2.25" piping and will be just fine, however if you go with either a 2.5" or 3" exhaust then it may run lean or if you decide to add an aftermarket plenum. I know you prefer Twins, but you should also consider Turbonetics ST or APS ST, but your HKS exhaust will need to be modified with a " reverse y-pipe ". Also consider, install for the Twins will range from $2000-3500 depending on shop hr.rate. Install for the ST or SC will be around $750-1500. APS TT is around $7500, APS ST around $5500 I think. Vortech and Turbonetics is pretty close somewhere around $4200. Greddy with Intercooler and ALL parts needed to make it safe, might cost more than an APS TT.
