Consensus on heavy wheels for FI
Consensus on heavy wheels for FI
I read in a post about having heavier wheels can help FI cars stick to the pavement and help in more controlled acceleration.
I'm looking at a set of Axis 20's that burst at the hips at 31lbs. I want to do a single turbo or something in the spring. I would rather spend the money towards FI rather than a set of forged wheels.
Does a heavier wheel make for added safety in any areas that you cn think of? Any safety disadvantages?
It seems like a win win situation, however I also see that many of you guys are running a lighter wheel.
Let me know your thoughts pls.
