Thinking of replacing the stock Vortech BOV with a Greddy RS, since they have the same mounting shape. How does the stock one sound? Btw the stock one looks a little flimsy with that plastic hat.

ive heard it in videos, and it sounds reall sick. very cool. idk, Randys_G or i think neffster has one also.

I went for a ride in jason's (aka TURBOMAXIMA's) vortech powered G. The BOV sounds crazy! It's pretty loud, sounds like the air brakes on a bus...it was also prolonged if that makes sense...like the sound lasted 2-3 seconds longer than i'm used to hearing. I used to have the greddy type RS BOV on my old car running 20psi (450hp) and my greddy bov was much quieter than the one that comes in the vortech.
