If you want to stick with an Infiniti dealer, I believe Scottsdale Infiniti installs mods. I don't live in the Phx area, so I'm not familiar with any custom shops.

a Super Charger would be safer than any Turbo .... Vortech seems to be very reliable ... and with a few tranny upgrades and running safe boost.. i think you will be fine driving it daily... Good Luck

Intense power is somewhere south east of scottsdale, about 15 miles or so. They have done good work on other FI cars, don't know of any g's though. They are really good with prices and have excellent customer service.

Personally, I think a supercharger on a Japanese car is like a basketball player wearing work boots during a game. It just doesn't fit, at least in my opinion.

I know TT applications can be risky and can/will blow engines. But Single Turbo's seem to be pretty reliable, I'd do some research on the APS ST if I were you.

There's also been quite a few members on this board who have actually switched from supercharged to Turbo, there might be something to that as well.

LMFAO...Come on up to Omaha and I'll show you how fast I cant run in my.....WORK BOOTS.....Vortech T-trim SC..13.2psi 400whp on a Mustang dyno...450 to 470whp for you DynoJet guys...and still more to come in the spring.

Now to the poster. The SC or the single turbo will work real well with the AT5 .You can run either with out any tranny upgrades , but it will not shift fast enough at WOT and will hit the rev limiter . Need to up the rev L. to 7100rpm . A valve body upgrade will help alot and a tranny cooler wouldnt hurt

The Turbonetics is a very good choice for a Single turbo

Booger, maybe my analogy wasn't the best. I wasn't saying a Supercharger is a slower alternative, I just don't think it fits. I think, IMHO, Superchargers are more for American Cars...and I guess the Mercedes AMG's.
I feel like *** cars and turbo's make more sense.

Also, doesn't the constant whine of the supercharger at idle get annoying? I believe APS designed their Turbo kits fans to go 50% power at idle to reduce the noise generated by them while not in use.

I know superchargers will give more of a linear power band, and probably a bit more power down low. But once there's Turbo's get spooled up by 3 rpms it's like a rocket after lift off.

The turbo's , both single and dual are for sure the better choice if your looking for huge trq. numbers . The APS single and dual are , Im sure a great kit , but unless you live by a dealer -installer-tuner [ which there are very few in the USA ] your stuck with it as it comes or send the unchip back and forth trying to get it right . The Turbonetic single seems to be better tuned out of the box and Turbonetic seems to be more helpful making sure everthing is working right . You still have to send the ECU to Tnetics if its to far off . But like I said , they seem to be here helping people as much as possible.

I suggest to the poster of this thread to do your research , look for a good installer and tuner of what ever kit he or she decides to go with . Dont buy a kit and then start looking for a shop

Guys, my advice was based on him claiming that he wanted to drive his car DAILY .. i like Turbo over Super Charger ..... but i SC is considerably safer than a Turbo and the Vortech has proved to perform better on the 5AT's than the 6MTs .. thats a whole different issue .... i would definatley get a SC over a Turbo if i had to drive my car daily.... but if u want raw power .. go for a Turbo..

If your car is really going to be a daily driver, I think longterm you will be happier with an APS ST over a Vortech or anything equivalent. A turbo is without doubt the more efficient solution since it is using "free" energy to generate boost. A supercharger is parasitic even when not generating any additional power ie. your fuel mileage may suck. Everybody has their opinion, but physics/thermodynamics dont care. It is what it is.
