Turbonetics Install

My kit should be finished Sunday. The shop installing it has done several 350 TN kits and they said this one is quite a bit more difficult.

I'm missing a very important part from my kit as well. They left out the boot that goes from the turbo to the filter. The really bad part is that my car is getting put on a boat for Hawaii on Monday so I can't wait for the part. And when my car gets to Hawaii and I get the part I have to remove the front bumper to install it. I may even need to remove the turbo as well.

I'm pretty bummed right now because I finally get the kit after being delayed a couple of months and now I can't even play with it because of my fear of sucking something into the turbo/intercooler/motor

It was bad enough that I was only getting a day to play before shipping it but now I don't even get that. And I'm really not looking forward to taking the car apart to fix it when it gets to Hawaii.

Here are a couple of pics.

Congrats on getting the kit on..its a bummer about that one part. I know Reggie had your kit shipped even before the AC lines came in to make sure you had it and then he sent the line later to Chris. Just so you know you are the FIRST production version G35 kit install.

That's too bad Russ, but the pictures are looking good. Wow, I knew Chris and Paul would help you get one of the early kits.. but you got the FIRST one .

Here are some pics of the dyno runs. I don't have a scanner at my present home (hotel). I posted some vids on my350z.

The intercooler hides behind the factory bumper nicely. I had an evo come along side me this evening. He would lunge forward so I could hear his bov. He did that about 3 times before I did the same. He stopped.

The boost looks like it comes on late but that's because he didn't start recording until 3k and the car wasn't under load. The boost comes on well before that. Usually full boost around 3k and when it's there its VERY hard to shift...lol.

good ish more proof that a single turbo for the G35 is better than a bling bling shock factor only TT kit
