Turbonetics ST installed on a 03 sedan

I got the kit and started the install 12/23 and finished it yesterday. It bolts on the sedan without a fitment issue. The only variation was the relief valve inthe fuel pump assembly was different, see poorly focused pic. And the left headlight ballist was in the way. As far as the relief valve, I did nothing. My fuel pressure gauge does not have the trick end and I did not want to chop up the fuel line and throw in a T so I will take it in and have Infiniti take a reading. Also while it's there the can read the error code for the service engine soon light, mite be high pressure. The SES light came on the first time I started it. I reset the ECU and it stayed off for the next 3 or 4 starts then it lit up again and then went out with out a reset, that was yesterday. 7 or 8 starts today with some road tests and no light! Ok the road test, I live in Rochester NY and today the roads were only wet, so in #rd gear @ 5k the tires broke loose, I did try 4th. Its like the old days when I use to race a Speedway bike. That was with out the fans working, I did not get the fuse tap for the fan relay. So maybe tomorrow the roads will be dry and I can go by a fuse tap. Or snow

You can call Turbonetics and they can overnight you a fuse tap. I think it might have been left out of the first 2-5 kits that shipped. They have them in stock right now though and it can get shipped. Without a modified FPR you might have fuel pressure as high as 70 PSI at idle...

Before going ST, what did you have done to your car? Did you get the Valve upgrade? Also, your car is a 5AT?

I have done all the work myself. I am a retired firefighter from the Rochester Fire Dept. and needed something to do in the non golfing season, otherwise my wife would find something for me to do! These are the mods, 1/2 spacer, Z tube like intake w/K&N air filter, blinder xtreme 20 laser jammer, passport 850, some gizzmo that plugs into the sat input on the radio so I can hard wire my mp3 player, and a remote starter that now doubles as a turbo timmer. The car is an 03 sedan w/6mt, second tranny. It would not Shift from 1st to 2nd without using both hands when it got below 20 degs, did I mention that I live in Rochester NY, we beaten Buffalo 9 out of 10 years for annual snow accumulation!

You asked about a valve upgrade, are you talking about the valve body on a 5at?

I was thinking of doing this very thing, but havent looked back there to see what is involved in plugging it in. Is it just an RCA to mini-headphone jack adaptor? Did you have to take the whole dash apart to get back there?

You have to buy the gizzmo, search AAI-NIS. They go for around $75. and are exponentially better than an fm tuner for a mp3 player.http://www.beachaudio.com/product_in...ducts_id=27865

Congrats on the install and welcome to the club. Did you dyno it already? What kind of power are you making at what boost and A/F?

Have fun.

if by oil cooler you mean the power steering oil cooler that gets moved. Here is a link to the installation instruction, it is for the 350 z but very similar. http://members.***.net/turbonetics35...icsinstman.pdf
