Question for all you FI guys with big HP...

I will be getting my Vortech installed in about 2 months, waiting til the chance of snow is at a minimum. Anyway, all you guys wit 400+ HP have to have problem wit traction. Ive read threads that say obviously getting a wider sticky tire will help a significant amount, but I was wondering if there is anything else that would help with traction concerns. Also what rims and tire setups are you FI guys running, 18's 19's?, because Im debating on some 19" volks and wanna know if I should just stick wit my 18's.

Thanks in Advance

Chris

I am putting down well over 500whp on my VRT built motor with the JWT TT kit. When I run my 18's I have a 315-30-18 with a Nismo 18 x 9 1/2 inch wheel in the rear. On my 19 inch Volk Challengers I run a 305-30-19 on the 10 1/2 inch rear wheels.

I can spin 'em in 4th gear on my stock tires. I'll be sticking with the 18s because there are much more tires availible for an 18" rim, especially drag radials.
