HKS T51R Any thoughts?

Hey fellas anythoughts on getting a vq builted, and matched up with a T51R ... I am in the process of piecing up my turbo kit, custom of course...

The G wont be daily driven, and ill probably be running C16.. As you can see I would like to be well over 800whp, with a huge turbine..

Do you guys suggest anything other turbines?
Anybody running a larger size turbine?

HKS DATA:

HKS T51R KAI - 800 PS Output

COMPRESSOR:
-Wheel- 56 Trim - 70.3 Inducer / 94.0 Major
-Housing- 100 Inlet / 80 Outlet
TURBINE:
-Wheel- 76 Trim - 82.0 Major / 71.4 Exducer
-Housing- V-Band inlet / V-Band 115.5 mm outlet - 1.00 A/R

OR do you think I should go with a smaller size turbo like a Gt42R?

All suggestions, flames , etc... accepted..

My choice for something similar in terms of size but more powerful would be the Turbonetics Y2K T80 or T88...

the T51RKai's are top notch turbos. my friends are running them on their supra's and they're great. i'm sure they're fine with your built motor. my vote is for the T51R Kai.

you could use the HKS T51R SPL, if youre set on that turbo, they are both great turbos, either would be good, or the turbonetics MIA mentioned. i wouldnt really call the GT42R...smaller. its a freaking big monster of a turbo capable of 1000hp.

Seems to be a bit big to run on these cars...I know of a few Supra guys who run it but even then it seems pretty big. I don't know what turbos are supposed to go on a G but I can't imagine anything much larger than a T61 or T67 going in.

If you are looking for 800+ power on c16 or likewise, than your best bet is either a gt42R from garret or something along the lines of a pt76 from precision. Drop me a line and I can get either one for you.
