I just purchased the kit off one of our fellow forum members. Great Deal. I have the install lined up for next week. I have never been in a turbo vehicle before and I am wondering what I can expect from this kit. I have read a ton about the numbers but how about the driving experience over basically stock form? I've owned a couple C5's including a 405hp Z06. I'm not expecting that kind of performance but I would imagine there is something to be said for a turbo equipped car.

Its funny I purchased the car about 2 months ago thinking I was going to leave it stock. Man, the mod bug got me after MD iso spacer kit.

 

Expect 1st gear to be useless under boost and having a hard time shifting from 2nd to 3rd because the boost feels soooooo good.

 

boost is a drug... dont abuse it :P

 

Cool man good luck with your install. How much did you pay for turbokit and how much are you going pay for installion? MD iso spacer kit, since you got turboed, are you selling the kit?

 

Nah, I am going to keep the iso thermal spacer kit. I believe others are running them with good results with FI
