5500 is a great but i want to get it installed somewhere reputable so i try and limit future problems...
Lin-HkS would be nice but I just can't justify the price! I am not trying to get the most horsepower ever! Just looking for a little boost and a little show. I would rather keep it safe and legal!
BTW...I have the TEIN Flex installed on my car. I bought the TEIN CS as well because I wasn't sure which I would want. Anyways...
I have a used set of TEIN CS coilovers if anyone is interested...under 8,000 miles on my bro's 350Z...with EDFC. Anyone Interested?

Pardon my ignorance but what is EDFC, I see it now and then and never really paid attention. Are they electronically controlled suspension so that you can raise and lower the car whilst sitting in it??

naw...its doesn't adjust height.... electronic damper force control i think...
basically adjusts the comfort levels for your ride. then you don't have to do it manually. it is pretty nice that you can change depending what road conditions you are driving on. not absolutely necessary but nice to have

Here in Cali, smart choice going with a kit thats carb approved. Vortech out of box, no tuning needed, if your G is stock.

yep like Sundevil said ... Electronic Damping Force Controller, it allows you to control the shock dampening from 0 up to 16 for both the front and rear sets of shocks. It's great for people who track or autocross (like me). You don't have to jack up the car and adjust the "clicks" on each shock like you do with manually adjustable shocks. There's 3 presets you store ... so basically one for daily driving, one for spirited driving, and one for the track all instantly changeable at the touch of a button.

FI noob here, but what are the differences in the tuner kit and stock vortech kit?

Yes Tein's are adjusted from the top of the piston rod. That is tons of fun especially for your rear shocks just before your track event

-440cc injectors
-Fuel Return System
-Walbro fuel pump
-UTEC... no ECU flash required

^ yo jon...it all depends on what you want to do. get the vortech full kit if you want to play safe. get the tuner kit if you want to upgrade and go big....
you know when they ask you to go big at Mc Donald's? if you want the extra large fries and drink then go for the tuner kit...i would rather be safe and go with the regular size.....

Yep, I'm running the stock kit and I am very happy with it. Stock injectors, stock fuel pump, SS piggyback and the car runs awesome. If I end up upgrading something else I will go with larger injectors and probably a Walbro fuel pump. The SS box will still be fine for me as I'm not going to be doing anything crazy.

I see... decisions decisions

How good is that SS box? I've heard some really good things about the Utec and the ability to fine tune things for cleaner running. Could someone go with the stock kit and the Utec instead of the SS box?

Forgive me if these questions sound elementary, I have to start somewhere.

You could always do the Utec ... you will just need to purchase it seperately if you don't go with the tuner kit.
