Well I've decided to make the plunge in a few months and go ahead and go FI with the Vortech and I'm trying to cover all of my bases. One thing I am not sure about (yes I have searched) however is whether or not I would need a new front bumper to house the Vortechs IC, any help is appreciated .

 

nope lots of people go Vortech with stock bumper...maybe some cutting will be needed but you still can use stock bumper... i could be wrong... someone help me wit dis

 

I'd go with a new front bumper, which would expose the IC to afford more air to be introduced to the IC. Perhaps, you might consider something like a Karuma, Kenstyle, Greddy bumper, etc.

 

Yeah...if a new front is necessary it would be the KurumaZ without a doubt. However since im trying to keep initial cost down atleast for now (I will be upgrading the bumper regardless anyhow, probably a few months after I install the SC) I'm just wondering if its absolutely necessary to have one from the get-go.

 

The Stillen front bumper is my favorite.
