Vortech on Revup Motor?

I'm tired of waiting for kit to come out for the Revup Motor. MY only option will be a Turbo, with all the blown motor popping up, no thanks. Stillen and Vortech are taking their sweet a$$ time on releasing a kit for Revup.

Is it possible to get a tuner kit and combine it with third party EMS like UTEC/emanage? is it that simple or mounting will be different? I have an 05 6MT coupe.

thanks.

vortech is supposed to be finishing it up soon.

I doubt that any current vortech kit will work on the 05 or 05 6MT models.

The front cover of the "revup" motors is totally different than the regualr motors. The stock vortech bracket and pulley arrangement won't work.

When the new kit is released, I bet it will have a different drive pulley arrangement. They might have to have some sort of pulley offset for the belts to clear the exhaust cam timing actuator.

The front motor cover on the 05-06 revup motor is different from the 03-04 so the current mounting plate for the Vortech will not work.

Also the piping from the blower to the FMIC will need to be modified as the engine compartment has changed slightly due to the engine changes.

Hey Chris! It looks like Grubbs is providing some mis-information.

Could you provide a link to where you read this on their site? Under their Products section they are still listing only 2003-2004 G35 and 350Z...

It will if you have an automatic, but not on the 6MT "revup" motors.

As far as I know sometime next week they will be doing R&D on a 06 G35 automatic.
I know this because my 06 6speed G coupe will be in there afterwards for testing as there R&D car at the end of this month for the new supercharger kit slated for the 06 coupe "Rev Up" manuals.

when you say your car is going there for r&d at the end of this month does that mean they havent even begun on the kit for the rev up motor.
