APS TT - Slip/VDC Light Issue

Ever since I installed the kit, I turn on the car and idles perfectly. The slip and VDC lights are off. On a slow role the brakes will start engaging as if the wheels were slipping and then the slip and VDC lights would come on and stay on (very annoying). I can turn the VDC off and on after I start the car but still does the same thing on the role and then the slip light turns on.

I figured out that if I start the car and turn the wheels to the right 2 complete turns, the slip and VDC lights come on and stay on and everything is normal.....that is until I turn the car on again.

Does this happen to anyone? Is this an APS issue? Speed sensors on rear axle?

yo....did your installer remove the engine for the installation?

if so, the problem you are having is caused by the steering shaft joint not correctly installed and/or steering angle sensor is not lined up with steering wheel sensor when everything was put back into the car

i had the same problem and my installer took it to the dealership to have fixed.

if the engine was not removed for install, than I have no idea what the issue is.

The engine does not have to be removed to encounter this problem. All that needs to do be done to run into this problem is to have the steering column disconnected and the steering wheel moved. I'm pretty sure that's what happened to mine.

I agree that it's a simple dealer fix, one that should be a minimal charge.
