i doubt nissan has the strength to even attempt to make a LSF competitor... even though their turnaround the past few years has helped em get out of the hole, they still need to focus on competing in the basic market. They're taking a big risk bringing the GTR over, especially under the nissan badge.
if they stopped competing with themselves than maybe they can bring a line-up to compete with M and AMG, otherwise i see em having no chance in this cut-throat image concious toyota pwn3d US market

Nissan has already dropped the ball when they didn't include the 3.8 in the
highly anticipated Nismo 350Z! Had they done this it would be worth the
close to $40K their asking, other wise it's just another Z with more welds,
tighter suspension and funky body mods. Not quite what the name Nismo
should be!

Yeah i heard they were bringing out a G63 with the Mercedes 6.3 engine which they stole their design and are just changing the fact this engine will have vvtl something mercedes never thought of!
