bruddah - i agree with you completely... that's why i enjoy my g - nice balance of comfort, performance, and affordability.

all i was saying is that nissan could take a page out of the leaders' book and focus more on luxury, design, and convenience - as opposed to affordability and performance. that is the quality that the affluent dislike when they buy a luxury car. which will then always keep it out of that elite market...

i know it's stupid, and a lot of it is just marketing - but simply inflating the price (along with other items - such as ownership benefits), could put them there with everybody else.

the cedric and the president were the premier cars in japan a while back... we need cars like that here.

I def agree with what everyone is saying... the last year of the Q in 06 - I think the dealership sold 1! I dont think anyone could justify spending the extra money on a Q when you could get an M45 for thousands less. Maybe Nissan has something up their sleeves for the Q... afterall, they did retire the M for a little bit and made a huge comeback!

Given that Infiniti had its best sales year ever last year, I don't think they'll be changing their approach anytime soon.

Retarded line of thinking much? Talk about twisting the numbers. Infiniti may have sold more cars in '07 than they did in '06, but we're still waaaaay behind the pace set by Lexus, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Even Acura and Lincoln outsold Infiniti.
